I’ve recently been searching more and more about how to balance time and really keep on a good track of doing everything you want and need to do on a daily basis. Beginning this journey of taking over the world with crafts has been proven to be tough and time consuming. Time which I am not managing at all. It’s more like time slips away without me noticing. Which is no good.
While I’ve found some great information I have to say this is all much harder and more frustrating than I could of ever imagined. I’m finding my self not having enough time in the day to craft, do my social media stuff, blog, cook, clean, work out… on top of my full time job. It’s a bit ridic and a lot to take on, and I’m not so sure how to deal. Yes one step at a time is great, but I’m really more impatient and neurotic than I seem lol.
At the end of this tunnel shines a little tiny (and I do mean tiny) light, (I’m still a long way from being blinded by sunshine lol). I found a fabulous blog of fellow crafters that really speaks to me. This blog is “A Beautiful Mess” by Elsie and Emma, the title of the blog had me at first glance. It’s like the Crafting Gods were trying to send me a message! and then… I find this great post.
Not only does it really give some great tips in a way that I can process but it makes me feel like I’m not the only loser out there that has trouble with this every day stuff. Poking around their site, I found even more neat stuff that really does help in a HUGE way.. like “Ways to self promote without being (too) annoying”…AWESOME…yes, exactly what I have been searching for. I know what’s in my marketing tool box and what needs to be done, however I’m not much of a self promoter.. I kinda suck at it. Along with many other posts and articles they have posted, there is a bounty full of other information from recipes to beauty tips galore… it’s the ultimate DIY dream and I for one am sold. I can’t wait to poke around some more and find myself other great tips and information to help me along this journey.
Chances are you aren’t reading this but none the less…Thank you Elsie and Emma! You guys are truly a huge inspiration.
